About the role

We currently have an opportunity for a Nurse Educator available in Central West Queensland, as part of our industry-leading Registered Nurse (RN) Sponsorship Program.

You will be employed by HealthX then seconded to work for one of our partners – a leading hospital or health service.

HealthX will support you the entire time you’re in your placement, through our Soft Landing program.

Job Details:

  • Full time role
  • This role reports directly to the executive of Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services.
  • You will be required to work all shifts, which may include participation in an on-call roster.
  • Travel, phone on call and some stay away from base location are a requirement for this position. Accommodation and travel costs associated with work travel will be organised by the facility.
  • TSS visa sponsorship, with pathway to PR ENS-186.

To be successful in the role the suitable applicant will be/ have:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Leadership experience  
  • Advanced level of decision making in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Advanced level of autonomous clinical and professional practice.
  • Must have a driver’s license (International driver’s license).
  • Must have Adult Advanced Life Support and/or Paediatric Advanced Life Support.
  • Must be competent and trained in triaging.
