Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Travel to patientβs homes to provide meaningful therapeutic supports in context.
- Making assessments of patients' physical conditions.
- Formulating and introducing treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of patients.
- Completing documentation as required, including detailed reports.
- Educating patients and family members on how to prevent injuries and live a healthy lifestyle.
- Referring patients to doctors and other medical practitioners.
- Planning and organizing physiotherapy and fitness programs.
- Collaborating with allied health team to create targeted group programs.
- Using tried and tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide the best care.
- Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required.
- Staying up to date with developments in treatments with 20 hours of PD per annum.
- Supervision of allied health assistant and students.
- Other tasks as directed.
About you:
- You have high standards and integrity.
- Youβre empathetic towards colleagues and clients.
- You care on providing excellent customer service.
- You have strong communication and writing skills.
- You have at least 2 yearsβ experience in your field
- You currently work without any professional restrictions.
- You are registered with AHPRA as Physiotherapist.
- You have a driverβs license
