Our client is a family owned Electrical Contracting Business who specialise in the industrial, commercial, and sporting industries, servicing across South East Queensland and Northern NSW.

Due to recent growth, the company are seeking a new Electrician to join the team. The company offers a diverse range of work including installation and service/maintenance, working primarily across the Commercial and Industrial sectors. 

The Opportunity
This is a permanent, full time opportunity for an experienced Electrician seeking longevity and security with a well-established business on the Gold Coast.  Responsibilities will include:

• Installation, service, maintenance, and repairs across a diverse range of sites including street lighting, sporting fields, council sites, underground reticulation
• Service, maintenance and repairs at industrial sites and pump stations
• Ensure high quality workmanship while maintaining company standards, relevant safety, and compliance documentation
• Provide technical support to customers and a high level of customer service
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
• A thorough knowledge of AS3000 wiring rules and regulations
• Enjoy working alongside a tight knit team, passionate about customer service and delivering positive outcomes. 

What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in commercial and industrial service, along with civil experience. You will be seeking longevity in a permanent role and enjoy contributing to a team. 

You will also bring the following skills and attributes:

• Current QLD Electrical licence
• Construction Blue/White card
• Current CPR/LVR
• Open Telecommunications Licence (Preferred)
• Current manual drivers’ licence and own transport
• Ability to supply own tools
• Demonstrated knowledge of Industry Standards and Safe Work Practices
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
