Position Overview:

Hazell Bros is currently welcoming applications for our 2025 apprenticeship intake based in our Launceston workshop.  Our workshop apprenticeships run over 4 years, combining formal TAFE study with workshop and field work, all while you are supported by experienced and passionate mentors to earn a nationally recognised trade qualification.  At the end of your apprenticeship, Hazell Bros offers you a wide range of opportunities for career development and advancement within our business.

  • Diesel Mechanic.

To be considered for the above position you must have:

  • Completed a minimum of year 10 with sound results in Maths, English and Science or Technology which will set you up for success at TAFE.
  • Be committed to completing the 4-year apprenticeship including attending TAFE.
  • A commitment to our culture of Safety 1st Always Works
  • Have positive attitude, be reliable and a team player.
  • Submitted a short video (max. 60 seconds) introducing yourself and why you are interested in this opportunity.
  • Submitted a resume detailing your previous training and experience.
  • Submitted a cover letter and
  • A current Driver's Licence or being close to obtaining one.
