Warehouse Operator / Delivery Driver

Our chocolate is crafted in our Creative Centre in Coburg and distributed to our retail stores, corporate and wholesale clients and online customers nation-wide.

The Warehouse typically operates between 6am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, operating on the weekends only as necessary during peak periods.

The role:

We are currently looking for a full-time, maximum term Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operator (ideally with a with a Forklift licence) to join our team as we get ready for Christmas and Easter. 

The role will commence with us as soon as available and will come to an end on 31 January 2025.

This role is mainly focussed on deliveries between our own warehouses and some of our suppliers as our inventory increases, with some deliveries required to our stores.

You will be responsible for:

• Driving a truck (Heavy Vehicle license required)
• Assisting with loading and unload
• Assisting with other warehouse duties, such as picking and packing
• Supporting a culture of best practice, customer service and improvement
• Adhering to and promoting Occupational Health and Safety best practice

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a current Heavy Vehicle licence and experience in delivery driving
• Have prior experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Have basic understanding of and experience using stock management/inventory systems
• Understand safe manual handling methods
• Possess energy and motivation to achieve the highest standards
• Be an effective communicator
• Preferably have knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP
• Be flexible to work within different areas of the warehouse when required
