About The Role
We are looking for a university student studying Mining Engineering to join our Summer Vacation program. The program is a 12-week commitment starting in November 2024 and ending in February 2025 and is located at our Jacinth-Ambrosia mine. The program is open to those in their penultimate year of study.
Our Jacinth-Ambrosia mine is located in South Australia. Travel from either Adelaide or Ceduna is provided.
You will have the chance to apply the theory you have learned and gain exposure to a wide variety of duties, plus the opportunity to work on real projects in a collaborative environment to further develop your existing knowledge base and skills.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should:
Be studying a mining engineering degree and in your penultimate year of study
Have the flexibility to travel and reside in various locations within Australia
Hold a current and valid Australian C class Drivers Licence
Possess strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
