The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plant Mechanic to be part of our utility & construction equipment assembly workshop

Duties include but not limited to base assembly, fitment of customer specified local options and performance testing of machinery.

Ideally, we are looking for a Leading Hand who has a passion for mentoring and coaching our apprentices as we have a small close-knit team who work exceptionally well together whilst moving mountains!

Roster: Monday to Friday (overtime available)

Location: Pakenham Branch

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A trade qualified plant mechanic or equivalent
  • Previous experience assembling earthmoving equipment
  • Auto Electrical experience, qualifications, and diagnostic skills will be highly regarded
  • Safety focused mindset is paramount
  • Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • A proven high level of customer service
