Introduction

We are excited to announce the grand opening of our brand new, purpose-built emergency veterinary facilities in Gippsland. Gippsland Pet Emergency will be run through shared staff and facilities with West Gippsland Vet Care, ensuring a seamless and well-supported operation. As a family-owned business, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive and collaborative workplace where your voice is heard. We are dedicated to providing top-notch care to our patients and ensuring the psychosocial health of our team.

This is a much-needed service for the Gippsland area, and we hope to grow to a 7-day-per-week operation in the future. Our location offers the best of both worlds, with beautiful regional surroundings just 1 hour from Melbourne, the beach, and the snow fields.

 



Description

Shift Availability:

  • Day Shifts: 10 and 12-hour shifts
  • Night Shifts: 10 and 12-hour shifts
  • Weekend Coverage: Open from Saturday AM to Monday AM
  • Compensation:
    • Starting Rate: $80 per hour, increasing with experience
    • Penalty Rates: Additional pay for public holidays
  • Support Structure:
    • Well-staffed with experienced emergency vets and skilled nurses
    • Strong support from a dedicated management team
    • Opportunities to work in our day clinic if desired
