Reporting to our Tax Advisory Partners, your role will involve collaborating with a diverse client base across various industries including manufacturing, primary production, software and technology, medical and pharmaceutical, professional services, energy and resources, hospitality, investment entities, construction and retailers. 

What will your typical week look like?

You will primarily focus on delivering timely and accurate tax advisory services to a diverse range of clients primarily from high net worth individuals and family groups to start-ups and small to medium sized enterprises on various matters, including but not limited to:

  • Business and family group restructuring, including succession and estate planning
  • M&A transactions, including sell-side and buy-side tax due diligence
  • Specific areas of tax law such as Division 7A, Capital Gains Tax, trusts, employee share schemes, employment taxes, tax consolidation
  • Venture capital
  • Not-for-profits and registered charities tax concessions and structuring 
  • ATO reviews and audit activity
  • Tax risk management and governance

In addition to this, you will work with colleagues throughout Australia and across the Crowe Global network; manage and mentor junior staff; and lead/participate in training and professional/personal development activities.

Let’s talk about you!

  • Specialist Corporate Tax or Private Clients experience, in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm, or an equivalent role within industry
  • Relevant Accounting, Commerce or Law degree or Masters of Tax.  
  • Full or part qualified CA or CTA (or equivalent) preferred
  • Strong tax technical expertise
  • A self-starter with a proactive, innovative mindset
  • A strong team and collaborative focus
