We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to join the team on a full-time basis.

The Opportunity:

  • Complete store managerial duties including banking, budgets and rosters
  • Consistently achieve sales, store and personal KPI targets by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to staff
  • Action staff hiring, promotions and disciplinary procedures (where required)
  • Ensure thorough induction and training for all new staff members
  • Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service and maintaining a fully stocked store
  • Manage all issues arising from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
  • Manage trade accounts for store (if applicable)
  • Manage stocktaking and stock control for store
  • Manage the receipt and distribution of shipments
  • Maintain showroom and warehouse ensuring it is kept clean & safe at all times
  • Reporting and sales management
  • Implement, train, monitor and adhere to company WH&S standards
  • Implement, train, monitor and adhere to company policies and procedures

Skills & Experience:

  • Manual Driver's License advantageous
  • Management experience in the retail sector is preferred (plumbing or interior sales advantageous)
  • Experience in managing and meeting KPI's
  • Good level of computer literacy and MS applications
  • Ability to build effective working relationships
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Staff and Customer management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
