About the role

We are seeking applications for the role of Service Technician to be based in Adelaide to service surrounding areas including some sites in Victoria and NSW. Reporting to the Manager Infield Services the successful candidate will be based in the field and is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality maintenance services across our operations. The successful candidate will be travelling to sites regularly. This role will be 2 weeks on 1 week off

  • Key activities of the role will include:
  • Providing field-based support and maintenance
  • Ensuring IOR assets and facilities are maintained to specifications and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Conducting regular audits on sites and asset conditions and provide feedback on planned maintenance.
  • Installation, service, repair, and maintenance of fuel tanks and other IOR equipment including IOR Aviation Fuel Equipment assets.
  • Commitment to IOR and regulatory safety requirements including incident and hazard reporting.

About You

  • Electrical Trade Qualification would be advantageous but a technical background with a trade qualification or technical experience in mechanical, hydraulics, fitter would also be considered.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding experience.
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety & Company policies.
  • Forklift, confined space and working at heights and a knowledge of the Australian Petroleum industry standards is highly desirable.
  • NMI 5.1 & 18.1 qualification or willingness to obtain
