The role

We have an exciting opportunity available for a qualified HD mechanic to join our afternoon shift team based at our state-of-the-art workshop in Kenwick, WA. 

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, in a challenging and busy environment you will be required to:

  • General workshop duties

  • Pre Deliver brand new machinery to customers all over Australia, including UG and Surface Drills, UG Boggers and Trucks

  • Complete machine rebuilds 

  • Support the latest technology including our autonomous machinery, battery electric and remote monitoring

The role is permanent full-time opportunity for a tradesperson who is looking for a long-term career in mining.  Afternoon shift details:  2pm – 12am, (10 hours per shift, paid break) Monday to Thursday (enjoy a long weekend every weekend!)

Your profile

  • Relevant Trade Qualification

  • Previous experience working on a variety of Sandvik mining equipment.

  • Experience with Rebuilds advantageous.

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude

  • Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, with the ability to be able to read and interpret schematics.

  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical

  • Have the right to work in Australia

  • Valid Forklift Ticket
