This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, to work on the design of some of the most exciting projects in Australia and worldwide.
The role would be suitable for a mechanical engineer or senior mechanical engineer with data centre delivery experience (SDD, Design + CA) looking to take the next step in their career with a global award winning engineering organisation.
The role will provide an opportunity to working across a variety of sectors such as Data Centres/Critical Systems, Commercial, Aviation, Education, Healthcare, Master planning and retail you will have the opportunity to work with a team of expert engineers and BIM technicians and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines as a multi disc project manager to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.
The role also provides an opportunity to work closely with our APAC / Global based teams and will provide growth in business development and work winning to support career development.

Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng or equivalent) and having gained experience in a similar level mechanical engineering role within a building services context ,you are already well versed in relevant design software including Camel / IES / REVIT / Navisworks.
Experience in data centres or critical systems will be highly regarded.
You have experience of being a multi disc project manager & have proven ability in both overseeing and producing creative design solutions, as well as preparing specifications and tender/contract documentation and project reports, and crucially – you have a passion for creative and intuitive design as well as hands on experience of managing projects and client relationships.
Given the collaborative and client-focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills, project management skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
CPEng, NER and Registered Professional Engineer is also desirable.
