What we are looking for:


Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to teach in the subject area of Industrial Technologies & Design. This is a full-time permanent position, commencing from January 2025.


Teachers who have the ability and willingness to teach Industrial Technologies & Design with the capacity to take these into senior school and have a willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school are encouraged to apply. 


The successful applicant/s will demonstrate a commitment to providing quality Catholic education and learning based on a personal faith as well as be a highly trained and qualified professional with significant experience in the provision of high-quality educational programs. You will have well developed organisational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to work well in a team, as well as the ability to work independently.

Catherine McAuley College opened its doors in 2022, in order to meet the growing demand for a quality, Catholic Education in the Mackay region. Starting with pioneering Year 7’s in 2022, they will grow into a complete Years 7 to 12 profile by 2027.

Mandatory Requirements 



  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
