Job Opportunity: School Cleaner
Hours: Ideally, 5:30am to 8:30am and 4pm to 6pm
About the Role
Are you looking for a flexible job where you can make a difference in the educational environment? Brisbane Montessori School seeks dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as a School Cleaner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and other school areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust various surfaces.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish supplies as needed (e.g., soap, paper towels).
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Business Manager.
Successful applicants will have the following:
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good time management skills and reliability.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly.
• Positive Notice Blue card (working with children check).
• Annual National Police Check (completed in the 3 months prior to appointment).
• Current First Aid and CPR Qualifications (HLTAID012 & HLTAID009).
