Overview Of The Company / Role

 

  • Head office in Prestons
  • Residential builder developer, established over 40 years ago
  • Offer H&L, Contract and Spec Homes predominantly in the South West Area
  • 20 staff (office & site) + 3 in sales
  • Sales target FY24-25 is 100, growing to 250-300 2-3 years
  • Excellent staff attrition with many employees tenure over 10 years
  • Culture is defined by everyone is treated equally and fairly and given the trust to do their role
  • Current display homes located Oran Park and Leppington with huge plans to grow their display footprint over the next 12-24 months by a further 10 displays (new areas in Austral, Wilton and Menangle)
  • The business have recently overhauled their marketing & new website and have implemented new sales & operational processes
  • Looking to hire 3-4 Sales Consultants that will join a 3 month sales cadet program, trained and supported by a Sales Manager with a true passion for the industry and a 20 year track record in a Sales manager role in the home building industry
  • This role requires weekend work, with two rostered days off in the week
  • The client values attitude over experience in the role, therefore a stellar attitude, being highly motivated and passionate about the home building industry, is paramount
  • Salary dependant on background & experience; range from $50k - $70k + Super
  • Commission: H&L ranges from $3k - $5k, Contract sales 1%
  • Additional bonus for 1st and 2nd place per quarter:
  • 1st place: min 6 sales per Q = $10k / 9 sales per Q = $15k / 12 sales per Q = $20k
  • 2nd place: min 6 sales per Q = $5k / 9 sales per Q = $7.5k / 12 sales per Q = $10k

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Reporting to the Sales Manager
  • Engage with prospective buyers and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Conduct tours of display homes and communities, highlighting features and benefits.
  • Assist buyers in selecting the perfect home design, floor plan from available stock (spec homes so no plan changes)
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure timely completion of homes and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the contract and closing process, including negotiations and paperwork.
  • Follow up with clients post-closing to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals.
  • Open allocated Display Homes minimum 5 days per week, including weekends (two days off in the week)
 
Requirements To Apply

 

Ideal will either have:

  • Customer service, sales or real estate experience
  • Sales Host/ Sales Associate experience and looking for a better opportunity with genuine support & training
  • Sales Consultant within their first two years of the industry 
  • A stellar attitude, being highly motivated and passionate about the home building industry
  • Excellent time management, presentation, and communication skills
  • Weekend availability
  • Enthusiastic and influential personality with an ability to negotiate and build relationships
