We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Sales Assistant to support Sydney City Salvos retail operations.
Reporting to the Retail Coordinator, this is a permanent, full-time position based in Surry Hills, NSW. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the General Retail Award Level 3.
Provide exceptional customer service and appropriate assistance to all customers.
Perform store open & close established procedures as required.
Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to team members.
Assist in coordinating and implementing marketing and promotional activities in the physical and online retail space.
Process donations and ensure adequate amount of stock is on the shop floor at the correct price point.
Maintain the appropriate visual standards of the store and ensure stock is organised.
Manage complaints and feedback, escalating to line manager as required.
Demonstrated customer service experience working in a retail environment with an ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Sound presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written) with an ability to interact with a variety of people.
The ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
A current NSW Driver Licence (desirable).
