Your role at St John of God Midland Hospital
As a member of our friendly and approachable nursing workforce, you will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of patient care in a safe and effective manner. Midland is one of our busiest hospitals, with demand for public services consistently increasing every year, making it a dynamic and fast-paced environment to work in.
We are seeking Registered Nurses for various wards throughout St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals including, Medical, Stroke and Aged Care.
The Position
Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff.
Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. A minimum of two (2) yearsβ experience a relevant specialty is highly regarded.

We can offer you
Salary: $72,571.24 - $95,498.06 pro rata, plus 11.5% superannuation
Several permanent part time positions and fixed term contracts available, up to 70 hours per fortnight
