Ashford Hospital are seeking to recruit experienced Emergency Registered Nurses into the busy Emergency Department, in permanent part time and full time roles. Ashford Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services, 24/7 cardiac emergency centre and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit.
As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include\:
· Work cohesively and with initiative in a multi-disciplinary team
· Ability to make timely and accurate decisions in critical medical scenarios
· Liaising with management, key stakeholders and all Emergency staff
· Support management and embrace change and new initiatives positively
· Display clinical expertise and service excellence in a private healthcare emergency setting
· Provide patient care in accordance with National Safety Quality Standards and ACHA policies

Essential Criteria\:
· Current Registration with AHPRA
· South Australian DHS Working with Children clearance
· Background in Emergency Nursing (minimum 3 years)
· Must work across early and late shifts over a 7-day rotating roster (Nursing hours include several different shifts between the hours of 0730-2400)
· Commitment to Quality Patient Care
· Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Work well independently and within a team
· Basic computer skills

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement – 2021-2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’) (salaries range between $35.69-$48.80 per hour).
