Your Role:

We are currently seeking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at Juniper Hillcrest in Geraldton, a well-established facility offering 80 beds all with ensuites. Our homely atmosphere provides comfort to residents, including those living with dementia who require specialised support. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.

As a Registered Nurse with Juniper, you will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, in conjunction with other healthcare professionals, and for the planning, implementation and evaluation of residents' care plans. Demonstrated experience in the mentoring and supervision of care staff and the awareness of AN-ACC required assessments.

Both full time and part time opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement resident care plans


• Address requests and concerns from families and carers in collaboration with the Residential Manager


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aged care documentation requirements


• Work with healthcare professionals to provide quality care to residents


• Enhance the performance of care and service staff


• Identify training needs for clinical and care staff in consultation with the Residential Manager


• Ensure full compliance with aged care standards

Key Requirements:

• AHPRA Registration


• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in an aged care setting


• Understanding of an AN-ACC documentation


• Strong planning and coordination skills


• Ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes care


• Sound knowledge of medication systems


• Excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
