Your role at St John of God Midland Hospital

Our acute aged care nurses are committed and dedicated to providing exceptional care and providing a welcoming and relaxed environment to some of our most vulnerable patients. The Position

  • Assess plans, deliver and evaluate patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
  • Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
  • Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
  • Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff.
  • Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.

You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.

To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Aged care experienced nurses with up to 3 years’ experience would be highly desirable.

We can offer you

  • Salary: $74,748 to $98,362 (pro rata for part time)plus 11.5% superannuation
  • Two permanent part time positions are available, working between 42 to 63 hours per fortnight
