The Opportunity:

Xenith Consulting is a long-standing and very highly-regarded full-service mining consulting firm headquartered in Brisbane. We are excited to announce that we are establishing a new office in West Perth and are now seeking a permanent full-time Principal Mining Engineer, with extensive metals industry experience, to join our newly established West Perth based Team.

As a Principal Mining Engineer, you will be a technical subject matter expert, responsible for managing packages of work and developing technically excellent solutions within your area of expertise. You will assist our Managers to build and maintain strong client relationships and will play a key role in developing and mentoring our junior staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the growth and establishment of our new West Perth based office.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) (or higher) is essential.

• 10+ years’ experience with demonstrated career progression and development.

• Excellent communication and report writing skills and an ability to interpret and articulate technical information accurately and succinctly.

• Significant experience in managing studies.

• Competent Person capability for JORC Ore Reserve estimation.

• Strong understanding and capability in multiple software applications (e.g. Deswik, Vulcan, Micromine, Surpac, GEMS, Spry and others as required).

• Financial analysis competency and experience would be viewed favourably.
