Conplant Pty Ltd is the largest privately owned specialist compaction and construction equipment company in Australia. The Perth (Malaga) branch is going through a growth phase and requires a Plant Mechanic to join the team.
As Plant Mechanic, you will:
You will bring a Mechanical Trade Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology with at least 12 months practical workshop experience, ideally on compaction and/or construction equipment.
You will also have:
• The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate must be able to think on their feet and remain calm under pressure.
• Practical experience of and a willingness to follow well established workplace health and safety and quality assurance procedures.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• An organised, methodical approach.
• Ability to work regular overtime.
• Attention to detail.
• A flexible ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness and ability to work as part of a medium size team.
• Current driving licence and ideally a Medium Rigid licence is also desirable, as is a licence to operate plant and equipment e.g. forklift.
• Computer literacy is required for use of Microsoft Office and in-house software systems.
