About the Role:
As a Physiotherapist, you will be an integral part of the Allied Health team, working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to treating Queenslanders with neuromuscular conditions. The role involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including equipment prescription, individual functional assessments, treatment blocks, and participation in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical physiotherapy services under the NDIS framework, including assessment, equipment prescription, and treatment blocks.
- Implement group programs based on client needs, such as hydrotherapy programs and balance groups.
- Develop and supervise programs implemented by allied health assistants or carers.
- Keep confidential clinical records, enable informed choices for customers, and comply with client risk assessment and management principles.
Requirements
- Recognized degree in physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
- Friendly and supportive interpersonal skills with a client-centered approach.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and database operation.
