Your role at St John of God Bendigo Hospital

The Grade 3 Physiotherapist works alongside the multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical physiotherapy services to clients using advanced evidence-based practice skills. Practices as a Senior Physiotherapist and ensures practice is in accordance to Australian Physiotherapy Association Code of Conduct and SJGHC policies and guidelines.

The Position

  • Provides clinical services to client groups and circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills.

  • Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback - satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities.

  • Ensure prioritisation and delegation of duties of Physiotherapy caseloads for self and supervised staff.

  • Promotes professional values and ethics in clinical practice.

  • Demonstrates strong, current clinical knowledge and skills and applies this to contribute to supporting individuals and teams in clinical practice.

  • Leads and contributes to undergraduate student programs and training.

  • Leads and develops highly performing teams.

  • Accepts responsibility for maintaining and strengthening own professional knowledge and expertise. Maintenance of own continuing professional development portfolio as required

  • Adhere to all applicable St John of God Health Care policies and guidelines.

  • Take reasonable care of themselves and others.

  • Demonstrates strong, current clinical knowledge and skills and applies this to contribute to supporting individuals and teams in clinical practice.

You will hold a registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist and you will demonstrate advanced clinical experience and leadership in a highly specialised area of clinical practice within a healthcare setting.

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate experience in the initiation, design and implementation of research and quality improvement activities.Β Recent experience in Physiotherapy services in relevant clinical settings including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments will be essential for this role.

  • Salary: $110,854 to $124,462 plus 11.5% superannuation

  • Fixed term full time position available for 12 months.
