We are seeking a dedicated and experienced People Adviser to join our team. As a People Adviser, you will play a key role in supporting the HR function by providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the People Partner – Advisory Lead, you will provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and best practices.

This opportunity is available on a Full Time, 12 Month Maximum Term contract basis.

What will you be doing?

  • Providing interpretation and advice to Leaders regarding HR policies, procedures and processes

  • Providing assistance to employees in relation to general HR enquiries

  • Reviewing and processing of people tasks through the HR system (workday)

  • Assist with the resolution of employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances.

  • Manage employee data and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.

  • Assist with the administration of HR programs and initiatives, such as performance management, training and development, and employee engagement.

  • Stay informed of changes to employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and other departments to support the achievement of organisational goals and objectives.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Previous in an HR role, with a focus on employee relations and advisory services.

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
