Outreach Community Health Nurse in Woods Point and Jamieson.

Mansfield District Hospital is currently seeking expressions of interest for a Long Service Leave cover position for our Outreach Community Health Nurse in Woods Point and Jamieson.

The position is 2 days a week (0.4FTE) commencing 25/11/2024 until 23/02/2025.

There may also be an opportunity for some shifts at Mansfield VNS through this time.

This role includes:

- Home visits in Woods Point (Wednesdays)

- Home visits in Jamieson (Thursdays)

- Running a clinic in Woods Point on a Wednesday morning

- Running a clinic in Jamieson on a Thursday afternoon.

The position is suitable for a Registered Nurse with the appropriate clinical skills, demonstrated time management skills and excellent communication skills, who can work autonomously in the community.

In this role you will receive clinical support and will report to the VNS NUM. There will be a requirement to complete stats and data recording for the PCC team. Previous Community Health experience desirable but not necessary.

You will receive full orientation from the current employee prior to their leave commencement.
