Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care across a variety of settings, including acute wards, emergency departments, and aged care wings.


• Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and manage complex health conditions.


• Respond to emergencies, stabilize patients, and coordinate care in urgent situations.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.


• Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers, providing education and support where required.


• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, adhering to all documentation standards.


• Follow hospital and health board protocols to ensure safety, compliance, and care continuity.

To Be Successful in This Role, the Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Full working rights in Australia


• Qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration


• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Aged Care and/or Acute settings


• Emergency Triage Certification is highly desirable


• Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively delegate tasks and manage workload


• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team


• Proven experience in delivering clinical, patient-centered care


• Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and regulatory requirements


• Ability to work across various care environments including wards, emergency bays, and aged care facilities


• ALS (Advanced Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred


• Excellent computer proficiency and documentation skills


• High level of adaptability and cultural sensitivity, especially when working in rural and regional locations
