Xenith Consulting

Perth, Western Australia

Full Time

Do you want the opportunity to apply your skills and experience, across a range of projects, in a dynamic and exciting consulting role? Join Xenith, a leading supplier of professional consulting services to the Resources and Energy sectors.

The Opportunity:

Xenith Consulting is a long-standing and very highly-regarded full-service mining consulting firm headquartered in Brisbane. We are excited to announce that we are establishing a new office in West Perth and are now seeking full-time experienced Mining Engineers, with metals industry experience, to join our new Perth based team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in Xenith’s growth.

As an experienced Mining Engineer, you will be technically strong and have a solid background in metalliferous mine design. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team, as well as autonomously managing packages of work and developing technically excellent solutions within your area of expertise.

Under the supervision and mentorship of our experienced Managers, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical expertise across a range of projects for industry leading clients in the Resources and Energy sectors. Your career with Xenith will allow you to successfully build your network in the mining industry and develop into a widely respected industry specialist. You will work with leading industry professionals who can provide mentoring and professional development to help you grow.

Key Role Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) is essential.

• 5 years’ industry experience in the metalliferous mining industry, with demonstrated career progression and development.

• Strong understanding and capability in multiple software applications (e.g. Deswik, Vulcan, Micromine, Surpac, GEMS, Spry and others as required).

• Operational and geotechnical experience would be viewed favourably.

• Excellent communication and report writing skills and an ability to interpret and articulate technical information accurately and succinctly.

• A can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills and software.

• Alignment with our core values of Client Value, Team Culture and Technical Excellence.

• The right to live and work in Australia.

To thrive within Xenith, you will be passionate about your work, able to engage with clients and peers and be a highly motivated individual who is proactive with a "can do" attitude.

What it means for you:

Xenith values diversity and recognises the importance of providing all employees with a supportive and flexible working environment. As a future focused employer, we offer hands-on training, mentoring and long term career development in addition to competitive remuneration.

You will report to one of our highly experienced Managers who will work with you to understand your personal strengths, and to focus on them within your KPIs. The dynamic nature of consulting delivers significantly more personal development and exposure than most operating positions can provide. You will have the opportunity to further expand your knowledge base by working alongside other team members in our Exploration, Resource Geology, Mining Engineering, Business Analysis, and ESG areas of expertise.

Most importantly, Xenith emphasises the importance of family and the required flexibility in the workplace.

Our focus is on the outcome achieved and quality of work, not the hours worked, or time spent in the office.

If you are passionate about technical excellence and client value, and want to be part of a growing team with Xenith– APPLY NOW!!!
