Lead Workshop Fitters and Trade Assistants to become best in class and aligned to the FLSmidth Global strategies, as measured by Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost and performance. This encompasses the Repair and Return of Customer Owned Assets associated with a large range of Minerals Processing Equipment and Spare Parts.
- Ensure compliance with the established safety management systems and legislative requirements.
- Manage the safety culture within sphere of operation.
- Focus the team on developing the appropriate safety culture to eliminate harm to our workforce.
- Oversee the direction and control of effective utilisation of labour resources
- Ensure accuracy of time allocated to Jobs.
- Provide consistent and regular feedback on performance to the team members.
What you bring
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills
- Minimum 5 Years’ experience in Workshop Leadership
- Minimum Dogging Qualification
- Forklift License
- Experience in strip and rebuild of minerals process equipment
- Independent, proactive thinking and the ability to plan work schedule
- Able to get results through others
- Basic IT Skills
