The Opportunity
Work with a global industry leader as a Mechanical Engineer at Ulan Underground. Reporting to the Senior Mechanical Engineer, the Mechanical Engineer will develop and monitor compliance of site mechanical engineering, maintenance and contractor management standards, implement and monitor operational plans, achieve work schedules and ensure the delivery of outputs are met.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate has the following skills and experiences:
Mechanical trade qualification and tertiary engineering qualifications
Relevant industry experience, underground coal mining experience an advantage
Strong communication skills
Ability to create and maintain a safe environment by ensuring Safe Work Practices are followed for mechanical tasks
Experience with promoting a positive safety culture within the mine
