If you are a qualified plumber looking for a change of pace and more flexibility in your schedule, then this position may be perfect for you! We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Plumber to join our centrally located South Bank Operations Team in a permanent, full-time capacity.

About the role

This role is all things plumbing! Our Maintenance Plumber will maintain the high standard plumbing fixtures and fittings across the parklands. This role will also provide specialised knowledge and advice to the Water Services Team.

Although based at South Bank Parklands, this role may be required to work at Roma Street Parkland from time to time and as needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • General plumbing and maintenance of water treatment plant rooms;
  • Storm water/drainage clearing and repairs;
  • Maintaining plumbing fixtures and fittings to a high standard;
  • Conduct regular checks and maintenance of all toilet blocks;
  • Conduct regular checks (and repairs) of all roofs and gutters; and
  • Assist with the maintenance of the irrigation and pool systems as required.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant licenses qualifying you as a plumber/drainer;
  • Ability to repair pump and plant machinery;
  • Current manual driver’s Class C;
  • RPZ Licence;
  • Plumbing Backflow Revaluation Certificate; and
  • Basic report writing and computer skills;
