What You'll Do:

We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planner. Reporting to the Planning Coordinator, you will serve as the critical link between the maintenance and production teams, ensuring the efficient timing and execution of short-term planned mechanical maintenance activities.

Your responsibilities will include planning and scheduling mechanical maintenance tasks, conducting equipment inspections, managing shutdowns, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and addressing ad hoc tasks based on priority, operational needs, and resource availability.

By effectively planning, scheduling, and continuously refining mechanical maintenance strategies in alignment with business processes, you will contribute to Curragh's goals for equipment reliability, production efficiency, and cost control within the Maintenance Department.

These are permanent roles working on a 7/7 roster.

What You'll Bring:

• Understanding of Asset Management strategies and Maintenance planning workflows
• In-depth technical knowledge in the mechanical field
• Knowledge of life cycle costing and budget forecasting processes
• Previous experience in planning and scheduling CHPP mechanical maintenance activities is highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of statutory laws and regulations governing maintenance in open-cut coal mines
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Experience in the use of CMMS; Oracle and SAP is advantageous but not essential
