Description
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to look after the maintenance and servicing of our fleet of road-building mobile plant, trucks, trailers and ancillary equipment, based in our modern fully-equipped workshop in Welshpool, Perth.
You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance on a wide range of road construction plant such as Wirtgen stabilisers, spreader trucks etc.
This role is suited to an experienced fitter and/or mechanic with knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical systems. Training will be provided to familiarise you with the service requirements of the equipment.

Skills And Experiences
About You
Are you a diesel mechanic with experience in the maintenance of heavy machinery and plant?
Are you looking for a permanent stable job, where you will be supported to develop your skills and experience?
The successful candidate will have:
- AU/NZ recognised HD mechanic mobile plant or Heavy transport qualifications required
- MR/HR licence minimum
- Plant tickets (roller, grader, watertruck) would be an advantage but not essential
- Fabrication skills would be highly regarded but not essential
- Excellent communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Able to work an on-call roster and overtime
- A commitment to putting Health & Safety first every time
