Job Title: Graduate Physiotherapist/Osteopath/Occupational Therapist - Aged Care and Community

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly motivated and passionate graduates in the fields of physiotherapy, osteopathy, and occupational therapy to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments on residents/participants physical capabilities, mobility, and functional needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions including exercise programs, manual therapy techniques, pain management strategies, etc.
  • Monitor progress regularly through re-assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and advice to residents, families, and caregivers regarding appropriate techniques for daily activities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as doctors or nurses in developing comprehensive care plans for residents.
  • Document all assessments, treatments provided, progress notes accurately in accordance with organizational guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current research findings and evidence-based practices related to aged care therapy.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiotherapy/Osteopathy/Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

2. Registration or eligibility for registration with relevant professional boards (e.g., Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).

3. Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

4. Demonstrated experience working with elderly populations during clinical placements or internships (desirable).

5. Knowledge of aged care regulations and policies (desirable).
