About the Opportunity

This position is located at our Millicent Mill, targeting to commence in October 2024 and will span for a fixed term period of 2 years.  Our Graduate Program is designed to provide the right experience, exposure and education to develop our future leaders and technical experts.  As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer you will have the opportunity to work in multiple departments across the business and gain exposure to World Class Manufacturing.

We want to provide you with a solid foundation and we believe that you’ll enjoy the variety of work, interaction and the opportunities to contribute and make a difference.  You will participate in the Performance and Development Program with a focus on your Development Plan.  You’ll work with a team that provides and asks for feedback by championing a Culture of Accountability.

What you will Do

  • Build on existing programs related to manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement

  • Work on projects related to key areas of production lines ensuring KPI’s are delivered across safety, quality, and cost

  • Take leadership responsibility for delivery of projects through people and cross functional stakeholders

Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)

  • The right to live and work in Australia

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, proficient user of MS Office product suite

  • As someone with strong analytical skills, you are also able to plan and organise at a high level

  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or similar Root Cause problem identification will set you up for success in our program
