About the opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pharmacy Department at Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg, a specialised Women's and Children's Hospital committed to ensuring high quality, evidence-based, person-centered, safe and effective patient care.
Full time 76 hours/week (with ADO)
Provide quality clinical pharmacy services to patients across all Women's and Children's areas (Neonatal, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Gynae-oncology).
Collaborate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds and projects.
Participate in Pharmacy Education activities, through practice-based research and audit, supervision of students, interns and residents and ClinCAT reviews.
Participate in Pharmacy Quality Use of Medicines activities through audit, quality projects, guideline reviews.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:
Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, with current AHPRA registration (plus evidence of last 12 months CPD).
Prior hospital experience
Demonstrate commitment to further education is highly desirable.
Patient focused approach to pharmacy with an interest in audit, research education and training.
Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
