Overview:
We are seeking a Native French-speaking classroom teacher to join our client's binational program, teaching students from grades P-6. This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic bilingual education environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in French for students in grades P-6.
- Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with both French and Australian educational standards.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters bilingualism and multicultural understanding.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents in both French and English.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the binational program.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and any other required documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Native French speaker with fluency in English.
- Valid teaching registration in Victoria.
- Previous experience teaching at the primary level, preferably in a bilingual or international setting.
- Strong understanding of both French and Australian Curriculums.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
