About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled First Aid Teacher to join our Community Health team. This role is responsible for facilitating student learning within the programs offered by the department and providing educational services within related industries. The successful candidate will deliver and assess learning in various modes and settings, including workplaces and the community.

Some of the duties of this role may include:

  • Facilitate and assess student learning in First Aid programs across multiple settings
  • Deliver educational services within related industries and the community
  • Ensure the quality of teaching and assessment aligns with the standards of the Community Health department
  • Manage administrative and compliance requirements of ASQA, VRQA, and HESG directly related to the role
  • Develop and update instructional materials and assessment tools
  • Provide support and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments

     

This full-time fixed-term position until December 2025 will be offered at the Teacher classification level of 3.1 – 5.2, salary range of $86,846 per annum to $110,121 per annum,  38 hours per week plus 11.5% employer superannuation contribution.

  • Strong knowledge of ASQA, VRQA, and HESG compliance requirements.

  • Proven ability to manage administrative tasks related to teaching and compliance.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and student support.
