About the Opportunity


Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking a Hydraulic Field Service Technician to join our high performance team, located in Richlands QLD 4077.

No day is the same as a field service technician with us. This role will see you working across a broad range of industrial sectors, providing breakdown and diagnostics support on hydraulic systems and equipment used in fixed plant and mobile equipment.


Your responsibilities in this role will include;

  • Attend site and conduct initial diagnosis and assessment
  • Determine what action is required to get the machine operational and initiate the corrective action, which may involve repair or replacement
  • Undertake site installations and commissioning of new systems
  • Provide routine preventative maintenance services on existing hydraulic equipment
  • Perform allocated work within the workshop, which will include cylinder rebuilds, pump and motor repairs and testing
  • Perform work safely and comply with WHS procedures.


About You

  • Relevant trade qualifications (ie Diesel, Auto, Mechanical or Hydraulic Fitter)
  • Hydraulic Field Service experience with the ability to prepare clear and concise service reports
  • Hydraulic overhaul and diagnostics experience and the ability to interpret hydraulic circuits (desirable)
  • Flexibility to work overtime and on weekend call-out rosters when required
  • Valid Driver's Licence and demonstrated safety first mindset
  • A desire to grow and develop a long standing career within the Berendsen Fluid Power business.
