We have a permanent full-time opportunity within our Brisbane Field Services Team for an experienced IT professional who will be performing onsite troubleshooting and installations on customer devices, as well as stepping in to assist the Field Services Team Leader with ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the Field Services Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Repair and installations on customer equipment including laptops, PCs, servers, networking machines adhering with ASI’s internal standard operating procedures and knowledge base,
  • Installation and configuration of desktop hardware, software and other devices,
  • Lifting and relocating PCs, monitors, and other equipment as necessary,
  • Log, manage and process Incidents and emails, and
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Field Services Team Leader.

A Bit about you…

  • 2 years experience in providing support for desktop/store hardware infrastructure,
  • Experience working within IT service desk ticketing tools,
  • Proven track record on hardware, desktop environment, and interactive whiteboard administration and troubleshooting,
  • Experience with Lenovo and/or Microsoft manufacturer repair will be highly desirable,
  • Must have a great understanding of manufacturer repairs isolating issues away from software and applications to hardware faults,
  • Ability to work under pressure, and manage conflicting priorities whilst maintaining customer excellence and SLA targets,
  • Excellent verbal and written English,
  • Exceptional customer service interactions (internal and external), both verbal and written,
  • Has the ability to adapt to changes as required by the organisation.
  • Has a Valid Driver’s Licence, and willing to submit Police Check, Working with Children Check
