Established in 2019, SCCC is passionate about delivering exceptional service to its consumers and providing care that is above and beyond. SCCC is an integral part of the Maronite Community within Western Sydney and SCCC aims to allow consumers to retain their active role within their community.

We are currently seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team on permanent basis as the Enrolled Nurse – Team Leader. Reporting directly to the Care Manager, the Enrolled Nurse Team Leader is responsible for providing hands on training and skill development for care service staff, as well as providing opportunities for staff to grow their skill set, ensuring they can provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents, while also fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. The working days and hours will need to be flexible for this role.

Core responsibilities

• Demonstrate practical skills such as safe lifting techniques and personal care procedures

• Shadow staff on the job to provide real time feedback and guidance

• Organise and supervise practical assessments to evaluate staff competencies

• Support staff during challenging situations to develop resilience and adaptability

• Provide induction and orientation to new care staff and provide support and direction to agency care staff when needed

What You Can Offer Us

• Previous experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting

• Current Enrolled Nurse registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority

• Strong communication skill, both verbal and written

• Practical knowledge of care procedures and best practices

• Leadership abilities to guide and inspire team members

• Capabilities to conduct and evaluate training sessions effectively
