Your role at St John of God Berwick Hospital
You will be an integral member of our Surgical nursing team, you will provide optimal patient care for all patients at St John of God Berwick, their families and significant others. You will provide care in collaboration with all members of the health care team including medical practitioners and allied health practitioners.
The Position
To provide quality care through being able to participate as a Team Member in the Team Nursing Model of Care.
Assist the Registered Nurse Division 1 in providing holistic care for patients.
Assist in the process of assessment of the patient and the development of a care plan for the patient.
Observe record and report to the Unit manager/ Associate Unit Manager / Team Leader.
General and specific physical and mental conditions of the patient and signs, symptoms which may be indicative of change
Social and emotional problems affecting the patient and/or his relationships with his family, visitors and members of the health care team
You will have current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse, medication administration endorsement and a minimum of four years post registration experience as an Enrolled Nurse or hold a post registration qualification (Vocational Grad. Cert in Nursing; Advanced Diploma in Nursing).
To succeed you will have completion and evidence of five out of the seven Enrolled Nurse Level 3 Competency Standards as indicated:

We will offer you
Salary: $ 75,335 - $79,295 (pro rata basis) + 11.5% superannuation
Permanent Part time position available
