Part Time – Enrolled Nurse

St Charbel’s Care Centre is a new and progressive organisation, dedicated to servicing the ageing population. Established in 2019, SCCC is passionate about delivering exceptional service to its consumers and providing care that is above and beyond. SCCC is an integral part of the Maronite Community within Western Sydney and SCCC aims to allow consumers to retain their active role within their community.

We are currently seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurses to join our team. Reporting directly to the Care Manager. The Enrolled Nurse role is to provide essential nursing care and support within a healthcare setting under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals. The Enrolled Nurse role contributes to the overall well-being of patients, support team leaders, and help ensure that care-related protocols are followed, all with the goal of providing excellent care and enhancing the patient experience.

This role is central to ensuring safe and effective care services are being provided to residents whilst upholding St Charbel Care Centre’s Vision, Mission, Values and Philosophy in line with the Australian Aged Care and Quality Standards and the National Disability Insurance Scheme. This role is a Permanent Part-time basis, occasionally willing to alternate between morning and afternoon shifts as needed, located in the Heart of Punchbowl.

About the role:


  • Responsible for the management of the team leaders

  • Responsible for oversight of workflows and documentation

  • Support the RN on the floor with concerns raised in relation to care

  • Ensure care related workflows adhered to

About you:


  • Minimum of 3 years as Enrolled Nurse in Aged care industry or equivalent

  • National Criminal Record Check

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)

  • Demonstrated experience leading a team.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing

  • An ability to uphold St Charbel’s Care Centre’s Vison, Mission, Values and Philosophy

  • Demonstrated experience in improving clinical outcomes.

  • Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment.

  • Prior experience working in an aged care setting and reporting on aged care standards and accreditation.

  • Prior experience working in an aged care setting and reporting on aged care standards and accreditation.

Desirable:

  • Spoken Arabic is highly regarded to assist with residents, families, and visitors' liaison.
