The Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Emergency Veterinarian with at least 2 years of clinical experience to join our dedicated team. In this dynamic role, you will thrive in a rotational shift environment that includes daytime, nighttime, evening, and weekend shifts. You will work alongside a seasoned team of emergency vets who have been collaboratively saving lives at ARH Essendon Fields for many years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional emergency veterinary care with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively with our experienced team, sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Handle sole charge veterinary responsibilities with confidence and proficiency.

Qualifications:

• Veterinary degree eligible for registration in Victoria.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in emergency veterinary practice is ideal, but experience in emergency is not essential
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully with colleagues, pet owners, and referring veterinarians.
• A genuine passion for helping people and their pets.
