Estate Services perform an effective maintenance service that provides a safe environment for high quality patient care. Contributing to creating Australia’s leading health care environment equipment in a safe and usable condition that allows for their efficient utilisation and overall effectiveness.
The Electrical Technician is a key member of a discrete multi-disciplinary maintenance team carrying out rectification works to achieve a high standard of performance. 
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a day-to-day response to identified defects. 
  • Carry out necessary repairs to plant and equipment including electromechanical services, essential power & lighting systems, communication systems and fire protection systems.
  • Reactive and preventative electrical maintenance in utility supply and patient care areas.
  • Fault finding on ELV and LV electrical supplies.
  • The ability to explain technical information and concepts to non-technical uses.
  • Ensure all works undertaken are completed in a safe manner including the use of tools and that a ‘safety first’ attitude is promoted and adopted.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in an electrical maintenance position within a large facility.
  • Experienced in fault finding in ELV and LV circuits and reactive maintenance.
  • A valid WA Electrical license – mandatory.
  • Holder of an ACMA Open Cabling licence – highly desirable.
  • Holder of a Construction white card.
  • CPR/LVR (Low Voltage Rescue), and EWP licence are all highly desirable.
  • Holder of Electrical licence, working at Heights and Working in Confined Space
  • Knowledge of, and application of, the Electrical regulations, ideally in patient care areas and facilities.
