Murilla community centre, a leading provider in early childhood education, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in Miles. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Position Overview:

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality educational programs that support the holistic development of young children. You will collaborate with a team of educators to create a safe and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity, exploration, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational activities and programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG).
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a collaborative and inclusive learning community.
  • Observe, assess, and document children's learning and development to inform individualized planning and ongoing improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards in early childhood education and care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA).
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and First Aid certification.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing educational programs in early childhood settings.
  • Strong understanding of child development theories and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
