Due to continued growth Prelude Australia is currently seeking Early Childhood Teachers / Educators in a Permanent Full Time or Part Time capacity. Option of Kurri Kurri or Maitland team locations.

About the Role:

Working within our collaborative transdisciplinary team, you will deliver early childhood intervention supports to children and their families, utilising a transdisciplinary key worker approach.

You will assist to facilitate a team around the family and child that promotes participation in family and community, while breaking down barriers to reveal children’s true abilities.

You will identify needs and deliver supports that lead to positive outcomes with children and families, while making contributions to the team and working within a billable model.

You will work closely with our experienced Team Leaders, being supported to achieve the goals of the organisation for best practice service delivery.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 1 years experience as Early Childhood Teacher and / or proficient teacher status.

Relevant Early childhood tertiary qualifications.

Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative team, providing consultation to Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.

Demonstrated commitment to implementing the National Guidelines for Best Practice in Early Intervention when working with children and their families.

Demonstrated ability to work within a billable model.

Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Desirable Criteria

Previous experience delivering early childhood intervention through transdisciplinary and key worker models of practice.

Experience delivering supports via telepractice to children and their families.

Current Police Criminal Record Check

Verified NDIS Worker Screen Check

First Aid (Including CPR Certificate/Component)

Comprehensively insured private motor vehicle
