JOB TITLE

Multifaceted Customer Service Technician

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a versatile and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Multifaceted Customer Service Technician. This role combines hands-on maintenance and labour tasks with frontline customer service responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a dynamic environment. As a Customer Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers by providing prompt and reliable service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and sanitary work environment.

• Conduct regular maintenance inspections on equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards.

• Handle refuelling of equipment and vehicles as needed.

• Undertake deliveries as requested.

• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of portable toilets.

• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on small engines, diggers, EWPS (Elevated Work Platforms), and other equipment.

• Assist with the setup and pack down of temporary fencing as required.

• Provide exceptional customer service.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and customer interactions using computerised systems.

• Handle incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel or providing assistance as needed.

• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn new skills as required.

• Work effectively under pressure, managing time and tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School, Trade or Diploma

• Valid Driver’s license

• PREFERRED – Forklift license, HRW, Yellow Card, MR-HR Truck License.

• Basic mechanical aptitude & previous mechanical experience.

• Demonstrated knowledge of basic hand tools for repairs/maintenance

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.

• Ability to safely lift & perform physically demanding tasks.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

• Follow directions/instructions from peers & management.

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
