Education Perfect is an EdTech platform designed to empower educators and amplify their impact in the classroom. We aim to enable teachers to personalise learning at scale with a range of powerful learning, assessment, and insights tools, helping them and their students reach their full potential.

We require a highly experienced Australian science teacher, preferably from NSW, to plan Education Perfect lessons to meet the new curriculum outcomes for the Data Science topics in Stage 4 and 5. 

This position will require the successful candidate to plan a series of 30 lessons on the topic of Data Science. The work is expected to take approximately 15 hours to complete (in total) and must be delivered within 4 weeks of the agreed start date. The successful applicant will be required for a further 2 weeks to apply feedback and address any questions. Upon successful completion of the project, a payment of $650 AUD will be made. 

The plan will include:

  • Identification of the curriculum outcome(s) the lesson aligns with
  • A lesson title
  • Suggested learning outcomes for each lesson 
  • An outline of the content and activities that could be included in the lesson to ensure students meet the stated outcomes. 

This role does not include the creation of any content. This work will all be conducted remotely using the suite of Google Applications (Docs and Sheets) and time management software to track completion. 

Requirements of this position include:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience teaching science in Australia, preferably to NSW Stage 4 and 5 (Years 7-10)
  • You are experienced in writing lesson plans to meet specific curriculum outcomes
  • Experience using Education Perfect in the classroom
  • Proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets
  • Ability to work independently and to a strict timeline
